MACS Software is a Lutterworth based leading developer of software solutions for warehousing, distribution and manufacturing.
Due to continued expansion, the following opportunity has arisen:
SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Developing in VO (Visual Objects, an object-orientated language) and gradually migrating to VO.Net.
VO experience of particular interest, although other OO language experience would also be of interest. C#, VB.Net and web design skills would also be very useful.
Database skills (SQL and/or Advantage) also a must.
Responsibilities:
• Development of application software to pre-written specifications using MACS standard libraries and programming techniques
• Production of associated documentation i.e. program notes, user instructions, database definitions
• System testing of product developed prior to handover
• Other tasks associated with the running of the business e.g. reporting, data migration, testing, site visits etc.
• Assistance in the support of MACS application software in the field
