We at
MACS Software regard our relationships with customers as a
partnership. Speak to our existing customers and they will
tell you of our flexibility, speed of approach and our willingness,
whenever possible, to go that extra mile.
Our philosophy is geared around training to give users confidence
in their own ability and that of the MACS
system. Comprehensive training is provided before the software
goes live and is complimented by on-site support for as long
as is necessary thereafter.
If you have any questions that you would like to ask us, please
do not hesitate to make contact.
However, we hope that some of your more obvious questions
are answered below.
What
does MACS stand for?
How long does it take to implement a system?
Can you link MACS with other computer
systems?
How much does a system cost?
Do you provide after-sales technical support?
Where are you based?
Do you only work with local clients?
What
does MACS stand for?
Quite
literally, Management And Control Systems. This is the fundamental
objective of our software. In addition, from a corporate view,
we think it means commitment, confidence in our systems, advice,
innovation and value.
How
long does it take to implement a system?
It
really does depend on the degree of modification required
from the standard software and, of course, how busy we are
at a given moment. However, we have significant experience
in implementing interim systems at very short notice (i.e.
within less than one month). In general though, the norm is
between 3 and 6 months from the agreement of functional specification.
Can you link MACS with other computer systems?
Yes, many of our customers require us to interface with their
financial/ERP systems. We have significant experience of building
interfaces with SAP, Navision, Sage, MFGPRO, Kewill, JD Edwards
and many other systems.
How
much does a system cost?
Given
that return on investment (ROI) tends to be rapid, we could
say nothing! However, like most things, the cost depends on
the number of modules required, the level of modification
and the number of interfaces with other systems or the internet
etc.
Do you provide after-sales technical support?
MACS Software
has dial-in facilities with all customers and a dedicated
helpdesk telephone number and email address. We can usually
resolve all queries through these methods. However, if a site
visit is required, we'll be there.
Support is also available outside the standard hours of 8.30am
and 5.30pm by agreement (24 hours per day, 7 days per week,
if necessary).
Where are you based? Do you only work with local clients?
We
are based in the Midlands, close to all motorway networks
and two international airports (Birmingham and East Midlands).
We have customers in Wales, Scotland, the South of England
as well as in the Midlands. In addition, we have customers
in Northern Ireland, Ireland and Russia.
We
work with all sizes of business operating in different industrial
sectors. They may be local or multinational in nature but
we tailor our service and systems to each individual requirement.
